THE CHRISTMAS GIFT GUIDE | BUDGET

The Christmas season is my favourite season of the year. All of the cute little lights everywhere, the hot chocolates and just spending lots of time with the ones you love. Since I love Christmas so much I thought why not post a Christmas gift guide up on my blog. I will be posting a three part Christmas gift guide this year, starting off with the budget Christmas gift guide today, then I will be posting a lifestyle gift guide and finally a semi-luxury gift guide!

Being a uni student, is hard. You don't have a lot of money to spend on Christmas gifts, and it can get quite hard to buy your friends and family some really nice and affordable Christmas gifts. So in this post I'll share a few Christmas gift ideas that are under €25,00. Perfect for a uni student, or really lovely as a stocking filler if you have a bit more to spend.

Perfume and body sprays

I feel like giving someone you love a perfume or body spray is such a luxurious present. Of course not all of us can afford to buy everyone they love the newest Chanel perfume, so why not opt for something similar to what they already wear, but make it a bit more affordable? Over the past few years lots of high street shops started making their perfumes, which actually do smell really good. So while you're out there looking for the perfect present. Why not get your loved ones a perfume or a body spray. I absolutely love Zara for perfumes but they only sell them in store, so Victoria's Secret, & Other Stories, Rituals and The Body Shop do some really great and affordable alternatives too!

Bags

If the ones you love are anything like me, they will always hunt down bags that are such a bargain. Bags can be quite personal, but if you're loved ones are quite into fashion, I think you won't be going wrong anytime soon when buying them a (small) bag. I find that Stradivarius, Monki and H&M do some really affordable and pretty bags that last quite long. Mango and Zara also sometimes tend to have affordable bags every now and again. Don't know what colour to go for? Black is always a good idea!

Makeup bags

Every women I know is always carrying around way too much makeup in her bag. So, why not give her a cute makeup bag. I plan on giving a few makeup bags to some of my friends during the Christmas season, as I feel like a makeup bag can say so much about the person. There are lots of affordable makeup bags from shops such as Primark, Hema, but H&M and ASOS also do some great makeup bags!

Hand cream

I always like to give my friends lots of little, useful presents, so I usually end up stocking up on lots of hand creams from lots of different shops and give them to my friends and family during Christmas. Hand creams really aren't that expensive, and they give you the softest hands, which is always a bonus! I honestly think that most women that love beauty, also love hand creams. I find that L'Occitane, The Body Shop, H&M and & Other Stories do the best hand creams that I actually also use myself!

Lipstick

Lipsticks can be quite hard to get your family or friends. But if you know them really well and know what colour they do and don't like, I suggest you buy them a lipstick for Christmas. Of course you could always make this as expensive as you'd like, but some drugstore lipsticks that I found recently, are really good and make such cute little gifts. I find that my favourite lipsticks usually are from Bourjois, L'Oreal, Kiko and Sleek. Kiko is the absolute winner when it comes to affordable makeup in general, so you can stock up on lots of pretty lipsticks for all of your friends!

Magazines

Okay so this last thing is something I would usually buy when I only have the tiniest amount left to spend, because I spent most of my money on other presents for my friends and family already. I like to buy them a few magazines to read. I find that having someone else buy you magazines makes it a bit more special, because it's not something you always like buying. My favourites to give away are Vogue (British or US), Porter magazine, Vogue The Book and Kinfolk.

Anyway, I hope that inspires you a bit when you don't have a lot of money to spend this Christmas, or  if you're looking for some small stocking fillers!
