RESOLUTIONS IN 2018

Happy new year! My first day of the new year has been very slow, I am currently in bed curing the flu since. That got me thinking on what I wish for in 2018. There are a few things in 2018 that I would like to do a bit different to 2017. However, with new years resolutions, we usually do things that are a bit drastic in life to change. This year however, I tried to set myself goals that are a bit more realistic and easier to accomplish.

GETTIN BACK INTO THE GYM

2017 definitely was the year that I was slacking big time. I barely went to the gym last year as I was constantly feeling extremely tired. This year however, I am hoping to get back into the swing of things. I need to get a little more active, as I felt like I just had a lot more energy. So I am planning on going back to the gym once I have gotten rid of my flu, and I might actually want to start doing pilates soon.

SUCCEEDING IN UNI

Another thing that I to continue doing, is succeeding in uni. Now I don't have too many high measurements. I pretty much only really want to be able succeed in uni just as the years before this. I wish to finish my semesters at  uni, preferably without having to retake certain subjects.

READ MORE BOOKS

Over the years I have always said that I wanted to read more books besides my summer holiday. I usually only get around to reading them during that time of the year. However, I am trying to get into a bit of another routine, reading books before I go to bed. And to be fair, I have already completed this, as I just finished my first book of the year this afternoon. I am already looking to start a new book so definitely send recommendations if you have any!

DOING THINGS I LOVE AND BE MORE PRODUCTIVE

The last couple of months, or basically after I came back from my summer holiday I have been in a bit of a rut. I am just very tired and feel like I barely have time to do anything on the blog. Besides that I also have a lack of inspiration when it comes to blogging.  I don't really know what is wrong, or something, but I somehow am so much less productive than before. So this year I am going to try and plan out my life a bit more, do more of the things I love so I can be more productive again.

BE MORE APPRECIATIVE OF THE LITTLE THINGS

Something I want to do this next year is to be more appreciative of the small things in life, mainly on a day to day basis. We can all get swept up into things, not feeling appreciative of the small things in life. Especially in this era where it's all about showing off on social media about how amazing once life is. This year, I will try to appreciate small things in life, such as having a good conversation with a friend, being able to even go to uni, or just appreciating a beautiful sunny day.

TRAVEL MORE

This is yet another thing that is on my list every year. Last year I got to discover a new city, Edinburgh, and I have fallen completely in love with that beautiful city. I am hoping to be able to travel a bit more this upcoming year. I feel like travelling is just such a beautiful thing in life. It can make you feel more inspired or can make you change your perspective on things in life.
