MOMENTS IN MAY

Happy last day of May! I can’t believe how fast this month actually went, but it probably has something to do with me being sick for a good two weeks. It’s been a lovely, but quiet month, but I am still very grateful for the month I have had. Scratch that, this month started of quiet, but soon resulted in me feeling very stressed because of a few big uni deadlines. It's good that those deadlines are over now, as I can now enjoy and take a bit of a breath again. This month pretty much has been about the small thing in life, as I had such a busy month, and I can't wait to share them with you.

HOW TO HAVE A PRODUCTIVE MORNING

Productivity is one of those things I am really not that good at. I easily go from being very productive to very unproductive and rather lazy. Lately my uni work has been crazy and this has forced me to be rather productive and focused on uni. This is great of course, but I also have work and a blog to create content for. While focussing on uni, I kind of lost track of being productive, especially when it comes to work and my blog. The past couple of weeks have been crazy productive, but also very stressful. That got me thinking this weekend. I want to start my day productive, so I can switch off at night. I especially struggle to be productive when starting my day, which I believe has something to do with me not really being a morning person. In this blog post I am going to share a few things in my life that I will be changing the upcoming month, so I can start my productive day.

A GO-TO SPRING LOOK

I had been wanting to post this outfit post for ages, because I was just so thrilled about these shots. I shot this outfit a few weeks ago but never really had time to edit the photos up until Wednesday evening. However, I still wanted to share this outfit with you, as it is one of my go-to outfits that I wear at the moment. I would say this is one of my go-to spring looks of this year. If you know me, then you know I am all about comfort. I love wearing comfortable outfits, so this outfit pretty much fits that description.

This outfit is a very easy, basic, but most importantly, comfortable outfit. In my opinion this look looks so effortless but pulled together because of the blazer. Keep on reading if you want to see what elements I incorporate into my current go-to spring look.

MY GO-TO GREEN SMOOTHIES RECIPES

I love drinking smoothies. It's one one those drinks I always like to drink, especially now that I have been ill the past couple of days. It’s such a good way to get some veg and vitamins inside of you and I love how filling smoothies are. I am quite a picky eater when it comes to vegetables, so I find that this is such a good way to fill my body with a few more vegetables than I would normally eat.

You always feel just so much better after having a smoothie, which is why I love drinking them alongside my meal in the morning. In today’s post I am going to share my two go-to green smoothies with you. When I was younger I was quite scared by the green colour as I felt like it would never be as tasty as a fruity smoothie. I now always go for a green smoothie as I have learnt to drink it throughout the years. Green smoothies definitely don’t have to taste of all the green, leavy bits that are in there.

SPRING MEETING OUTFIT

Hiya! It feels like forever since I last blogged, truth is, it has been a while since I last blogged. I started feeling really ill last week and have been on bed rest ever since. Hence the radio silence on my blog and instagram this past week. Last night I finally felt good enough to sit up in bed and write a little blog post on here. So here goes.
Lately I have been in quite a few meetings at uni and at work. These past few weeks we have been blessed by the most glorious weather. This made me excited to dress up a bit more for spring meetings. So in this post I’ll share my ‘what I’m wearing to a spring meeting’ outfit.

SPRING SUMMER 2018 WARDROBE ESSENTIALS

This post is so long overdue. I had been meaning to write this post for Friday, but I ended up getting ill and it resulted in me sleeping throughout most of the weekend. The season is changing and the weather really has been so beautiful lately! This got me so excited for springy and summery clothes. With the seasons changing, I went looking for a few new wardrobe essentials in my wardrobe for the upcoming two seasons. In February I already told you how much I was struggling to find SS18 clothes that I actually like for this season. It has taken me a while to figure out what clothes I would love to wear, and three months later I feel like I finally found all the items I will love and waer so much during the upcoming seasons.

GOALS I SET MYSELF IN MAY

We’re already a couple days into the month of May, but I have only just gotten around to sitting down to write my goals of May. Life has been hectic lately, and I kind of want to write a post about it soon to explain it all to you. But every spare day I have had this past week I have spent either in bed with one of the worst headaches or outside trying to enjoy the beautiful weather as much as possible. However, I did set myself some goals again this month that I want to accomplish by the end of this month.

MOMENTS IN APRIL

With May beginning, I wanted to look back on the month of April. Thinking back to my month, it feels like this has been one of the first months this year where I actually feel like nothing really special happened. But it all probably has something to do with how busy I have been during the month of April. Thankfully I wrote a few notes in my bullet journal on when I had really good days, so that really helped me reflect on April and made me appreciate the smaller things that happened even more.

FIVE FAVOURITES OF APRIL

Another month has passed and I can’t believe how close we’re getting to summer! April is well and truly over and I am really hoping that May will finally bring some really lovely spring weather around. This month flew by, but thankfully I was a lot more prepared than last month as I took note of five favourites of the month of April. That made it a lot easier to type up this blog.
