FIVE FAVOURITES | NOVEMBER

It's about time that I do my monthly five favourites post. It's December already, which means 2015 is just around the corner and that kind of scares me, because I will be a grown up in 2015. The year I turn 18. But before we get into all things that exciting and scary in 2015, we need to get through December first, which I think will fly by as I really am looking forward to Christmas a lot.

Since I am looking forward to Christmas so much, this is the perfect occasion to hop into my first favourite of November. Christmas candles. Yes, my Christmas spirit was turned on mid-October so I've slowly been buying Christmas related stuff. I like my room to smell nice throughout the whole year, and Christmas makes it okay to make my room smell like Christmas cookie dough, so yes, I've been loving Christmas candles. I love the Primark Winter Berry ones and Ikea do really good Christmas scented candles too. So if you're a big candle lover or just like your home or room to smell amazing, I'd recommend picking up some kind of Christmas candle for the most wonderful time of the year! Ha, see what I did there!

Since I've been talking about Ikea already, I might as well just also throw it out there that I have this crazy obsession with succulents and cactuses from Ikea. I've had a few quick trips to Ikea with my mum and my aunt this past month, and it mostly consisted of me staring at the succulents and cactuses. I basically had such a hard time picking one. I absolutely love how clean and minimal these plants are, perfect for the theme I'm currently trying to sport in my room.

Next is the Bobbi Brown BB cream. I basically needed a new bb cream, because my Dior Skin Nude bb cream was wayyyy too light for my skin tone. Lately I really have been liking Bobbi Brown products so when I walked by their counter in a department store here in The Netherlands, I just decided to have a quick little look to see if they had bb cream and they had, so I just picked this one up in a split second. It, thank god, turned out to be one of my best impulse buys I did as I absolutely love this bb cream now. A review will be up soon if you'd like that! :)

The next favourite of last month might be a bit invisible in the photo, but I can assure you it's there. It's my go to perfume at the moment. It's Elie Saab's Le Parfum Eau de Toilette. I would like to think that this is my signature scent for autumn/winter. I love how it stays on all day, because as much as I love my cheap Zara fragrances, they sadly enough don't really hang around all day, whereas this one does.  I am not even going to try to describe this scent to you because I don't even know what it smells of, just give it a little sniff if you ever come across it in a store. I'm honestly the worst at describing scents.

My last favourite is a product that most beauty bloggers and their mums raved about for quite some time now. My skin was having a bit of a mental breakdown during October so I went on the internet, had a little look at Caroline Hirons blog, watched lots of YouTube videos and read lots of other different beauty blogs and this was a product that most of these beauty people who have amazing skin were raving about. Yes, I am talking about the La Roche Posay Serozinc. Now at first I didn't notice a difference, but at the end of November my mum actually commented on how my skin was starting to look better again, cheers mum! Since I haven't really changed anything else in my skincare routine, I soon discovered that little blue bottle is magic for my skin and I'm in love now.
