LOF Boutique coat (similar), ZARA tee, ASOS jeans, Forever 21 heels, Céline sunnies

Just another manic Monday running around like headless chicken. So throwing on anything that's close to being comfortable I will put on. My tips? Just put on a stripey tee like this one from ASOS and throw on a calf-length coat like I am wearing in today's post. Walk with confidence, and people won't even notice that you're actually running around like a headless chicken, unless they are your best friend and know and notice it when you try to pull of this trick! But they wouldn't be your best friend if they didn't notice, right?!

Trying to think of anything eventful that happened in a week is hard. Especially when nothing eventful happened in a week. To be brutally honest, a lot happened this week, but it's all uni related - think arguments, stress and exams - and let's be honest, that's just boring to talk about!

I've been trying to keep and stick to a blogging schedule this past week, but that didn't turn out as good as I thought it would. I mainly think it's because I have been a bit uninspired lately. One of the reasons being the rainy, stormy and cold spring weather we've been experiencing here in Holland.

To fix my "being uninspired" problem,  I decided to go all out on ASOS. I literally spent all of my money on ASOS getting myself new spring clothes, including boyfriend jeans, another pair of black jeans, and lots of tees and shirts. Like I told you in this blog post I've been loving the military shirts lately, and so I bought two on ASOS. I also plan on getting that gorgeous Topshop Bomber I showed you in my wishlist post. So I literally spent all of my money in one go, but I feel like my inspiration will flow once I get all of these parcels!

So I have told you about me being uninspired and I tried to get some inspiration from other people on instagram, style and fashion blogs and tumblr, which usually works for me. Somehow I am in stuck in such an uninspiring place that all of the usual stuff didn't work. So what I would love to know is; where do you get your inspiration from?

Mango leather jacket, ZARA shirt, ASOS jeans, Adidas Superstar trainers, Black Five bag, Céline sunnies

Of course a week can't go by without me wearing my Adidas Superstar trainers. I love them so bloody much! I've been really into shirts lately. Normally I don't really like the feel of a shirt when I have to wear them all day. I'd rather be in a comfy jumper or a tee. However I have been loving my shirts lately. I think it all started with this Weekday shirt which is just gorgeous. I've been loving wearing shirts lately and found that if they actually are good quality, they aren't as uncomfortable as I thought they would be.

25 March 2015

LOF Boutique coat (similar), Monki shirt, ASOS leggings, Adidas Stan Smith trainers, ZARA bag (similar), Ray-Ban clubmaster

This might just be one of my favourite outfits I have worn this week/the past two weeks. I haven't really had time to properly reflect on what I wore during the last few weeks, but I remember "feeling" my look when I wore this outfit. I think the reason why I love this outfit so much is because of all the different textures in this outfit. You have the coat, then there's this gorgeous shirt from Monki that's made of a velvet-y kind of material, then you have the leather leggings and the pop of white from my favourite trainers ever. I am feeling this look and I am loving this kind of shirt lately, so I am hoping to get my hands on a few more of these military look-shirts, so I can combine them with my favourite leather look leggings.

Boohoo bomber jacket, Topshop boyfriend jeans, Topshop trenchcoat, SheInside coat
Topshop bomber jacket, Topshop heeled booties , Vans trainers, Topshop hat, Illesteva sunnies, Topshop bag

Topshop, you are one big ass bad influence on my wallet. There has been a constant cash flow going on between Topshop and I. Not only Topshop, but Boohoo and SheInside have been pretty bad too! I've been having a quick little look on SheInside and may or may not plan on buying this coat. It's such a good one for spring, and I basically feel a need to get another camel coat, because let's be honest; I totally need another coat, because I don't have a gazillion already! ;)

23 March 2015

Mango leather jacket, Mango trousers, ZARA tee, Adidas Stan Smith trainers, Quay x Shay sunnies

It was about time that I wore these trousers combined with a stripey tee and my Stan Smiths to uni. Whenever I wear these Stan Smiths I just feel really bad ass. Don't know why, maybe because they're still this clean and white, maybe because I've been eyeing them up for such a long time. Who knows... Do you have a piece of clothing that you feel really "bad ass" in?

I have been day dreaming about lots of different clothes lately and now I can't help and count down the days until pay day. I feel like I am not ready for spring weather yet, clothing wise. I still need to get my hands on white shirts, boyfriend jeans and there were lots of other things on my wishlist, which will be up soon!

This week flew by! Before I knew it, it was Saturday evening and I was on a train to see The Script with my cousin. I had never seen The Script live before, but man, they are so good live! I had an absolute blast at their concert with my cousin, sang along with nearly every song and was completely exhausted afterwards. It might have been from standing for nearly 3 hours, it might have been from not eating and consuming wine and beer that evening. Anyway after the concert we walked back to the station, ran to make our train back to my cousin's place, got my scarf stuck in the wheels of her bike, which still makes me giggle just thinking about it, and eventually got home. We talked and talked and talked over a cup of tea. Had massive post-concert blues and at 2 in the morning finally decided to call it a night.

We woke up extra early 'cause we both had lots of work to do for uni, so at 11 in the morning I was on the train back home and have been doing stuff for uni again ever since - while jamming The Script of course. I am suffering from major concert blues and am looking to go to a concert again soon!

20 March 2015

SheInside jacket*, Weekday shirt, ASOS jeans, ZARA heels, Black Five bag, Céline sunnies

The other day I took my love for khaki to twitter. I am absolutely loving khaki everything at the moment. So when SheInside let me pick something, it had to include my love for this new colour. I am also eyeing up a pretty khaki trenchcoat and a gorgeous khaki bomber jacket that I am planning on buying when pay day comes rolling around!

19 March 2015

Mango leather jacket, Weekday jumper (similar), ASOS jeans, Adidas Stan Smith trainers, H&M bag, Céline sunnies

This is my go-to outfit for when I'm at uni. A pair of jeans that are comfy, preferably including  ripped knees, so they're even more comfortable, a casual top, my leather jacket and my big H&M shopper bag with my laptop and books and stuff like that in there. Topping it off with my Stan Smiths and I am comfortable while being in class all day. The hours at uni have been rather long lately, so I am longing for as much comfort as possible and this pretty much does the job. The only downside to this is that I think that this top shrunk in the washing machine. I remember buying this top last summer and it definitely was a bit longer than it is now. Darn it... And Weekday don't sell it anymore! *Insert sad looking emoji*

17 March 2015

Topshop top, ASOS jeans, Forever 21 heels, Céline sunnies

Back in the February, when I went to Amsterdam, I bought this gorgeous top from Topshop at the brand new Topshop store in Amsterdam. I love the sporty stripe vibes and I can't get over how much I love the cut of this sweat. I had a little browse in Topshop with my friends in Amsterdam and had seen so many lovely things already! For a while I did not like the collection Topshop at all, but let's say I got past that! I now have over €250 worth of beautiful clothing in my Topshop shopping bag waiting to be ordered, so pay day, you better come around quick now, okay? I am feeling spendy.

16 March 2015

Mango leather jacket, ZARA tee, ASOS jeans, Convers All Stars trainers, Blackfive bag, Céline sunnies

When I looked out the window the morning I decided to wear this outfit it was sunny. Very sunny. So you could imagine that it possibly also would be warmer than normal. At least that's what I thought! But I made a misjudgment and when I stepped outside in just my leather jacket, stripey tee and converse, I soon discovered that it wasn't spring yet! It wasn't a soft breeze, no! It was a cold wind that crept up my back. I seem to do this a lot lately. I can't seem to figure out the temperatures anymore without me either freezing because I'm cold or melting because I'm too hot. The struggle is real, and it brought a little cold along with it. So now I am stuck on what outfits to plan next, without freezing to death or melting because I'm dressed in the comfiest jumper I own.

15 March 2015

Happy Sunday! Like I said in the latest post, this week has been hectic and uneventful. I've been very busy with school and work and I could feel my anxiety levels starting to rise from all of the stress. That's why I decided to make this weekend as carefree and unstressful as possible. This weekend was all about me-time and me-and-my-blog-time. So I spent yesterday evening, after I got home from work, in bed with multiple good cuppas tea and watched the Hunger Games trilogy. It was great, in a non-sarcastic way!

I slept in for most of this morning, which also felt great. Then I finally got ready and decided to just stay lazy in bed all day. I have spent most of today looking through the Kinfolk magazine pictured above that my friends gave me for my birthday last month and am planning on doing some blog reading tonight, while I slap on this Parsley seed face mask by Aesop. I might actually watch Gone Girl tonight too which I am pretty excited about.

As you can read my weekend was all about down time. Being lazy on a weekend is one of my favourite things in life. What did you do this weekend?

14 March 2015

ZARA coat, Primark tee, Mango trousers, Adidas superstar trainers, Céline sunnies, Monki bag

Apologies for some of the radio silence that has been going on on the blog this week. I've been really busy. Combining school, work and a blog can sometimes get a bit hectic, as you all probably know as well. Besides that I've also felt really uninspired lately when it comes to outfits. I feel like all of the clothes that I currently own basically are clothes that can only be worn in winter, so now that it's slowly but surely getting to spring, I just have no clue what to wear.

I basically feel a need to take a night off and just do some blog reading instead of stressing about a gazillion other things. Tonight I will spend lazily in bed, finally catching up on blog posts and lots of magazines that have been some sort of a nightstand next to my bed. Yes, that's actually happening.

11 March 2015

ZARA jumper, Mango trousers, Black Five bag, Céline sunnies, New Balance trainers

These trousers are my go to trousers whenever I don't feel like wearing jeans. They're the perfect pair of trousers that can be dressed up and be dressed down. In this outfit I decided to wear it casual, as it was a casual outfit. Therefore I also decided to go for my New Balance trainers, which I haven't worn in absolutely ages. Truth to be told is that I actually forgot about them until I found them last week while moving around my shoe collection.
Speaking of my shoe collection; my parents seem to think my shoe collection has gotten "out of hand". But I really don't think it's that bad... right? I am obligated to owning lots of shoes. At least that's what I tell myself. Same goes for my collection of clothes, oh and my collection of bags! Yeah okay, sorry mum, sorry dad!
