RECIPE | GAMBAS AL PIL PIL

This is one of my favourite dishes ever. It's a Spanish dish called Gambas al Pil Pil and I devour it nearly every single day when I'm in Marbella every year. I decided to try to recreate it and share it with you on the blog today!

The ingredients
- 15-18 Prawns/Shrimp
- 3 cloves of garlic
- 6 dried chili's
- 100 ml olive oil
- Paprika powder
- A small baguette
- A terracotta dish

This is a really easy and quick dish. The first thing you do is peel your shrimps and preheat your oven to 220 degrees celsius. (that's 428 degrees Fahrenheit). Then you cut your three cloves of garlic into thin slices. Once you've cut the garlic into slices, you put the 100 ml's of olive oil into your terracotta dish.

Once your oven has been preheated you put your dish into the oven for around 2 minutes. The oil should start to bubble, that's when you know that the oil is ready and hot. Be very careful getting this dish out of the oven again. You have to add the shrimps and the chilis now and put some paprika powder onto the shrimps like pictured below.

Put the dish back into the oven for another like 5-8 minutes, that's usually when your shrimps are cooked and ready. Get the dish out of the oven, slice the mini baguette into pieces and you're ready to eat!

Let me know if you plan on making this dish. Have you had this dish in Spain or when you've had tapas?
