WHAT I LOOK FORWARD TO THIS DECEMBER

Ahh it’s December tomorrow! Isn’t it crazy how fast this year has gone by? I remember celebrating Christmas last year like it was just yesterday. December probably is one of my favourite months of the year as there are so many lovely things to look forward to. I thought it would be fun to share a few of the things I look forward to this December before I go to town on the Christmassy content.

Christmas

Of course the biggest thing I look forward to this December is Christmas. Even though there are still a couple of deadlines that I have to make for uni, I am SO excited to get proper festive and in the mood for all things Christmas. I still want to go to the garden centre and visit other fun and super festive places. Luckily I also have a couple of posts planned based around the Christmas festivities so I can get myself properly in the mood for it all.

Being able to breathe again

Like I said before, I am still quite busy during the month of December with uni assignments. It sucks right now, as there are so many deadlines and I can’t remember the last time I really did fun things and hung out with my friends and family without feeling rushed or stressed afterwards. What I really look forward to is to just being able to breathe again without feeling super stressed and rushed to get things done. I am beyond excited to have some spare time again.

Baking

I remember that I said somewhere halfway through November that I really wanted to start baking again. I have not had the time yet to do some baking because of my deadlines. However, as soon as I have handed in my final assignment, I am BEYOND ready to start baking. I used to love baking and kind of forgot about it during uni because I feel like I am always so busy. December feels like the perfect month to start baking again though, as it is the month of festivities and fun times with friends and family.

Spending time with friends and family

Which brings me to my next thing that I really look forward to: spending time with my friends and family. My deadlines have really made me a bit of a hermit. I spent most of my days inside, locked up in my room. I barely got to see friends and family these past three months. So what I really look forward to is to have lots of Christmas fun with friends and family and just catch up again.

Winter walks

What I also really look forward to is to go on winter walks as soon as I have handed in my assignments. I spent way too much time inside these past couple of months and really look forward to get out again and go for walks. I don’t really mind where I go, as long as I just get to spend a lot of time outside. What I really look forward to is going for lovely walks in the forest on beautiful, sunny but really cold winter days. I also can’t wait to wander around in town when it starts to get dark with all the gorgeous Christmas lights.
